Mr. & Mrs. Cook’s villa in Dominical, and that’s saying something for a
city girl. I couldn’t agree more.
I took my wife and three boys on vacation in April. Staying

The property itself is first class throughout. The amenities
inside the villa are state of the art, from the new appliances to the
unbelievable two master baths everything was as advertised and better than we
could have ever hoped for. Wait until you sit on the villa’s deck outside or
under the attached chickee hut and stare out at the ocean, you won’t believe
the view! This quickly became our favorite spot in the whole house.
I’ve been fortunate enough to take my family on some nice
vacations, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Washington D.C., Disney etc. and
although nice trips all, none of them have called us back like our trip to
Dominical.
No lines, no glowing neon, no running from place to place
just to beat the crowd. This trip offered us the chance to actually do things
we always “dreamt” of doing together. Canopy tours, (zip lines my boys called it), horseback
riding, ATV tours through the hills, surfing, fishing, swimming under the local
waterfalls and of course the beach.

I visited Dominical during the last week of January with my wife and three daughters. The trip was phenomenal and we wanted to express our greatest appreciation for the beautiful accommodations and helpful Tekoa staff. The combination of such rugged landscaping and the top notch surroundings classified our visit as “once in a lifetime” and “best ever” from the girls.
The Tekoa staff was extremely helpful but never pushy, from the pre-shopping list (a great service), the directions from the guards (with my limited Spanish) and a complete list of local activities that could be coordinated for you. The unit had a view to die for and we saw monkeys and toucans the first morning. A pleasant surprise was the complete lack of insects, making sunrises, sunsets and outdoor activities very enjoyable. The local folk were always friendly and we never felt threatened (nice with three daughters and a nervous wife). All in all, our entire visit was more than I had hoped for and we will return. Thanks for making this a dream vacation.

I was very impressed by the serenity and small town feel of Dominical. The small villa complex of Canto was most impressive that each villa was situated on its own tiered terrain overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Each villa had a panoramic view of sea and surf and a pleasant sound of the surf. Mr. Cook's villa had an outstanding sea and beach view from every room. The villa was filled with high quality turnkey furnishings, appliances and decor. We had a very pleasant and memorable stay and would recommend Mr. Cooks villa to anyone seeking high quality, upscale lodging in Costa Rica.
